Bell also undertakes background investigation and verification jobs, pre‑insurance investigation/inspection, risk survey, cargo specification certification and property appraisals.

For over two decades, Bell has been assigned by Thailand’s shipping lines such as MAERSK, and APL and other cargo terminals including all principal loading ports in Thailand.  This assures proper adherence to rules and regulations concerning weight, cargo condition and volume of cargo in the shipping trade.

Our company also renders allied services such as container inspection, pre-trip inspection, tank measurement, temperature surveys, yard monitoring and cargo tallying, for shipping companies, importers and exporters, bulk and break-bulk discharge superintendence.

Our most recent activity concern Forestry Certification in Thailand . We are working closely with the Forestry Industry Organization, the government enterprise, who are the largest plantation owners and producers of teak and para-rubber wood in Thailand . We are also assisted by the Kasetsat University, Bangkok as consultants.

PORT OPERATION DEPARTMENT

Our Port Operations Dept. services various shipping companies, exporters, agencies, etc. We are also the sworn measurers and weighers of Asia North America Eastbound Rate Agreement (ANERA) conference, a consortium of 10 shipping lines. For over a decade all cargo from anywhere in Thailand which are loaded and carried on ANERA carrier members have to be weighed or measured and certified to by Bell.

COMMODITY INSPECTION DEPARTMENT

In respect of commodity inspection, we conduct inspection of rice, sugar, tapioca chips and hard pellets, rubber, cotton bales and other agricultural commodities. This department is fully staffed with 27 licensed inspectors, 5 of whom have over 20 years experience.

As a recognized commodity inspection firm, our laboratory is well equipped to conduct analysis of pre-loaded cargoes bound for overseas recipients. The laboratory is equipped with such equipment as the Polarimeter, Hot air oven , Water bath, Fume Hood (for toxic gasses), Furnace, PH-Meter, Spectophotometer, Digital weighing scale, Microscope, Grinding machine and other laboratory equipment.

Meanwhile, Bell is also affiliated with South East Asian Laboratory (SEAL), Bangkok, which can handle microbiological analysis of sensitive samples, and foodstuffs.

The Commodities Inspection Department is also a member in good standing of the Inspection and Laboratory Association, Thailand .

APPRAISAL DEPARTMENT

Appraisal of Real Property, Machinery & Equipment, Fixed & Movable Assets and Complete Industrial Plants.

We have specialists who provide evaluation services for both movable and immovable properties for estimation of assets value for private companies, state enterprises, governmental organizations, enabling them to assess their financial, insurance and investment purposes. We have been given an approval by The Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand as one of qualified appraisors/valuers.
