COMMODITY INSPECTION DEPARTMENT

In respect of commodity inspection, we conduct inspection of rice, sugar, tapioca chips and hard pellets, rubber, cotton bales and other agricultural commodities. This department is fully staffed with 27 licensed inspectors, 5 of whom have over 20 years experience.

As a recognized commodity inspection firm, our laboratory is well equipped to conduct analysis of pre-loaded cargoes bound for overseas recipients. The laboratory is equipped with such equipment as the Polarimeter, Hot air oven , Water bath, Fume Hood (for toxic gasses), Furnace, PH-Meter, Spectophotometer, Digital weighing scale, Microscope, Grinding machine and other laboratory equipment.

Meanwhile, Bell is also affiliated with South East Asian Laboratory (SEAL), Bangkok , which can handle microbiological analysis of sensitive samples, and foodstuffs.

The Commodities Inspection Department is also a member in good standing of the Inspection and Laboratory Association, Thailand .

 
 

Mr. W. Raymond Tierra, MBA. BSC. (Management) (DLSU), with 10 years experience in Marine cargo survey and Commodity inspection before joining Bell in 1995. In Bell , he is one of our Directors controlling the Marine Department, Commodity Inspection Department, Forestry Certification, Port Operations. He also be a member of The International Institute of Loss Adjusters, Inc, (I.I.L.A.), U.S.A.
